DJ Skate Nights at Harbourfront Centre

Adam Marshall and one Terence Kissner will be gracing the decks tomorrow night on the Natrel Rink at Harbourfront Centre, we hope you will grace the ice.

The Natrel Rink is just south of the York Quay Building at 235 Queens Quay West (at the bottom of Lower Simcoe)

    8 - 11 pm Dec. 19th, 2009

    What else is exciting?
You can rent skates, have them sharpened and lock up your stuff.
Lakeside Eats is open and fully licensed.
Natrel is giving away free hot chocolate all night.
There are Fire Pits to toast your hands.
Ooh ohh and there are prizes to be won too!!

    Other things that might happen...
You might serious impress someone with your styles.
    You might fall... (down/in love)
You might discover that you can skate backwards (if very slowly) as I did last weekend.

See you on the icy dancefloor!

Thank you to all that braved the cold this past Saturday and made it out and hear wicked sets from John Kameel Farah and Eric Downer. Sure it was chilly, but these guys kept the music pumping so skaters didn't stop moving for a moment to feel winters wrath!!

Coming up January 9 is Matt Cully and Lou Calabro throwing down some retro boogie for a 50's and 60's dance party! You don't wanna miss this DJ Skate Night.

A reminder that this event is FREE and takes place on the Natrel Rink from 8-11pm. Keep warm by enjoying free hot chocolate all night long!

All the best for 2010 from us to our loyal skaters!!!

    Subject: Ready, Set, Skate!

Saturday, Jan 16th will be like no other night. Dark light will be shading the Natrel Rink from 8pm-11pm, with the sounds of Nocturnal DJs: Andy Reid, Simon Jain and YUG.

Get ready to bust out your gypsy lady dance moves and dance from deep down inside. We are gonna house you all night long!

FREE hot chocolate will be given out to keep your body temperature warm, but it's up to you to throw it down on the ice.

    WORD!

Anybody else going today? It's been so cold I have completely avoided it. I have a few friends going with.
I'm hoping to go the Promise one next week if the good weather still holds.
I'll be the one flailing away on the ice --> No, really. I'm that bad.
