Love this idea guys! It would be awesome if you get some bedroom djs out for their first gig! I'd enter but I've played for you before and think it would be a really cool opportunity for someone completely fresh.

Can't wait to hear the mixes. And I'll definately come out to the show!

Unless of course Hasnips submits one of his Indie Disco-step mixes then I'm out.
    Critical Hit!

I'm going to try this out. All my stuff is mp3 form for the most part, so I've got my work cut out for me.

Post-indie Disco-step now, notsowiseman. Get with the times. I'm also considering a mix of proto-hyphy and nu-crunk.

Jokes aside, I look forward to listening to the mixes.

Shame this night is the same as Mr. Scruff across the street.

As opposed to vinyl? Should be easier, no?

I've actually never spinned a day in my life, except on the rides at the CNE.

Well, lucky for you, Traktor can handle the beat-matching part of things leaving the actual mixing up to you.

I have recently left behind time-coded vinyl and CDJs in favour of a truly digital setup using four decks in Traktor Pro. Now, when I play vinyl, I do just that and I really find it has enriched both sides of my game.

If you need some tips or help getting started, let me know.
